Excavator Rental B&G

The Engineer Research and Development Center is soliciting a one-month rental of a heavy-duty hydraulic excavator for concrete demolition operations at its facility in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The equipment must be a 30-metric ton (65,000 lb.) or larger machine with a Tier 4 Final diesel engine producing 200 to 275 horsepower, equipped with a high-flow/high-pressure hydraulic circuit to support continuous operation of a 7,500 to 9,000 ft-lb impact energy hydraulic hammer, a 42 to 54 inch heavy-duty excavation bucket, and a hydraulic progressive link thumb, all connected via a quick-change system. The excavator must include a FOPS Level II cab with full front and top demolition guards, an automatic lubrication system for the hammer and linkage, and a minimum 10 lb ABC fire extinguisher onboard. The machine must be delivered fully fueled with ultra-low sulfur diesel, fully inspected, greased, and in flawless operational condition with zero hydraulic leaks. The hydraulic hammer must be serviced to meet manufacturer specifications for blow count, impact energy, and nitrogen charge throughout the rental period. Mobilization and demobilization are required and must be included in the quoted price, with delivery and pickup occurring at the Poorhouse Property of ERDC-WES, Gate 3, 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180. The rental period is 28 days or up to 280 hours, and equipment must be returned in the same fuel condition as delivered.
