This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested.
The Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) is soliciting quotes for a one-month rental of a 30-metric ton (65,000 lb.) or larger hydraulic excavator equipped with a quick-change hydraulic hammer/breaker and excavation bucket, specifically configured for heavy concrete demolition, at our facility in Vicksburg, MS. This equipment package shall be optimized for thedestruction of reinforced concrete slabs and vertical walls up to 18 inches thick, utilizing a high impact hydraulic breaker and a standard excavation bucket for debris management on a quick-change setup.
