The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded Firm Fixed Price contract modification N00019-14-C-0022-P00012 to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Fort Worth, TX to exercise an option for the procurement of one (1) Bell 407 GXP Helicopter. This effort is in support of the MQ-8C Fire Scout System. This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
