This ammendment is issued to correct the date decrepency in this post and the Attched SF 1449 RFQ attatchement and to adjust the verbiage in clause 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Products and Commercial Services. (Deviation 2026-O0038). 


Questions and Government Response: All questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted no later than Wednesday, 29 July 2026 @ 2:00 PM CST. Any questions that are received in conjunction with this solicitation and the corresponding responses by the Government will be posted as an Amendment to System for Award Management (SAM), website: www.sam.gov.


Contractors shall submit all quotes by Thursday, 6 August 2026 @ 2:00 PM CST electronically by emailing the Contract Specialist, SrA Nathaniel J. Cordova at nathaniel.cordova.1@us.af.mil and the Contracting Officer, Karl Deffert at Karl.Deffert.1@us.af.mil, and with the subject line "FA481926Q0063 - Quote".


Regarding clause 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Products and Commercial Services. (Deviation 2026-O0038) (Tailored), text was removed to midigate confusion about evaluation criteria. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical capability is a consideration that will be evaluated. It is the contractors responsability to evideidnce there ability to meet or exceed this requirment.

This is a solicitation for commercial items (supply) prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses in effect are IAW RFO, FAR, DFARS, AFFARS and all other related guidance.


The solicitation number is FA481926Q0063.


This acquisition is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335132, “Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Electric Lighting Fixture Manufacturing” and a Product Service Code (PSC) 6210. The 2025 Small Business Size Standard is 200 empoyees.


Offers (Quotes) received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated IAW FAR 52.212-2(a) using the following factor(s) to determine best value: 


a. Technical capability of the item/service offered to meet the Government requirement; and


b. Price (evaluation of price shall be the sum of all line items, including options if applicable).
