The project emphasizes sustainability and connectivity, with all-electric systems, Wi-Fi access, and a ground floor designed for community use rather than commercial space. The project has a schedule of approximately 21.5 months, with construction expected to start in June 2025. The bidding process requires subcontractors to submit proposals by May 8, 2024, via the Building Connected platform, with specific emphasis on meeting the San Francisco Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation goal of 20%, and local hiring mandates of 30% within each trade and 50% of apprentice hours by local residents. Prequalification through the TradeTapp system may be necessary for all bidders, and bonds covering the full subcontract amount may be required. The project involves strict adherence to prevailing wage laws and union labor agreements, with detailed contact information provided for questions related to bid documents and project specifics.
