Full Description

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of the Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for wood waste-impacted sediment to be remediated within the Wood Waste Remediation Work Site (Work Site), as part of the Wood Waste Remediation Project (WWRP). The WWRP is being conducted with the aim of managing the ecological risks associated with the accumulation of wood and wood waste in surface sediment within the intertidal and subtidal areas due to historical log-booming, log storage, and wood mill operations in northern Esquimalt Harbour.
