Stumps less than 12 inches in diameter will be cut flush with the ground. Stumps greater than 12 inches can be left at normal stump height. Debris that i s chipped, can be blown throughout the easement area. Excess chips can be disposed of at are disposal site which is within 5 miles of the clearing. Any oversized logs shall be limbed and can be left off to the side of the road. The work will be in close proximity to power lines. Any damage caused to the power lines or power poles by contractor operations will be fixed at no cost to the government. If needed the power lines can be deenergized between 7:15am to 3:15pm so the work can be accomplished safe ly.
