This contract is a firm fixed-price, requirements-type commercial agreement for the remanufacture of F110-100/-129 fuel nozzles, covering one base year plus four one-year option periods. It involves remanufacturing multiple variants of fuel nozzles identified by specific NSNs and part numbers, with detailed quantities and delivery schedules defined in contract line items. The fuel nozzles are critical engine components responsible for regulating fuel flow and pressure in the F110 engine, consisting of several finely calibrated parts to ensure proper combustion. The total quantities required under various line items range from dozens to over a thousand units annually, with steady monthly delivery expectations. This is a sole source acquisition awarded to Parker Hannifin due to unique qualification requirements that cannot be fully specified by the government. The contract is not subject to export control, and foreign participation status remains undetermined, with foreign entities advised to seek prior approval before proposal submission. The solicitation was issued around early 2014, and responses were managed electronically through FedBizOpps. An appointed Ombudsman serves as a confidential point of contact to address concerns during proposal development. Interested parties, including small businesses interested in subcontracting opportunities, are encouraged to communicate with the designated government contacts for further information about the procurement process.
