Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of the Fisheries and oceans Canada is issuing this Request for proposal (RFP) forthe repair work on the main breakwater at the Rivière au Renard fishing harbour in the Gaspesia Region includes, but is not limited to, the following work: The manufacture, transport, storage in the work area and installation of precast concrete units and filter stone. The supply of quarry-run and granular materials for the construction of an access road. Reloading the existing breakwater head with concrete units to reprofile its crest. The partial demolition of the existing breakwater head and reprofile of in place stone. Sorting and reuse of the recovered stone to be used as filter stone for the work in the 8 mt dolosse intervention zone or as fill material for the crest of the breakwater in a section prior to the work zone. The partial demolition of stone protection along North Main Wharf and reuse of existing concrete units and stone. Consolidation work on existing steel sheet pile wall.
