Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) awarded Delivery Order N0042119F2068 under Basic Ordering Agreement FA8122-19-G-0001 to General Electric (GE-A) Aviation, Lynn Massachusetts (MA) in order to procure a QTY of (100) Engine F404 ECP Number A-51 Afterburner Flameholder kits, with a QTY of (64) as an unexercised option. The kits have been previously developed, tested, and quailified for modification to the F404 engine. This is Firm Fixed Price (FFP). As the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the F404 engine, GE-A is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical expertise to provide the required supplies and services. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title10, U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, 'Only One Responsible Source,' and no other suppliers will satisfy agency requirements.
