NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk awarded contract N0018926PL046 to Alaka'i Services Group Inc on March 18, 2026, for $249,109.20. This sole-source, non-competitive acquisition was executed under FAR 12.102(a) due to urgent and compelling circumstances. The contract covers the procurement, installation, and maintenance of FACET hardware, specifically computers and scanners, to replace critically obsolete and unreliable systems. This equipment is essential for mission-critical archiving, data retrieval, and the sustainment of the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness program on CVN platforms. The urgency of the requirement was driven by the risk of program suspension, non-compliance with federal financial mandates, and operational inefficiencies caused by a single point of failure in the existing hardware. Performance is centered in Norfolk, Virginia, with a critical required delivery date of March 20, 2026. The procurement was managed by Contract Specialist Joseph Frech and approved based on the immediate need to avoid serious financial or operational injury to the Government.
