PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City of La Porte is seeking competitive Bids for the Fairmont Lift Station Project which includes the design and construction of a new wet well, valve box, and associated subsurface utility piping including an 18-in diameter gravity line. The Project shall include all work and the furnishing of all necessary superintendence, labor, machinery, equipment, tools and materials, and whatever else may be necessary to complete all Work including all related appurtenances, complete, tested, and operational as per these Solicitation Documents, Sealed Bid #26016. QUESTIONS and CLARIFICATIONS All requests for interpretation shall be submitted as a question at www.publicpurchase.com or to purchasing@laportetx.gov or may be delivered in writing to the Purchasing Office located at 604 W. Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, 77571. Purchasing will act as liaison between Bidders and the department’s representative or the Engineer/Architect to seek clarification or supplemental instructions appropriate to the inquiry. The deadline for answering questions is seven (7) working days prior to the bid opening.
