Fairmont RFP CDBG-I Grant Administration Services

The Town of Fairmont has been awarded a $3,000,000 Community Development Block Grant-Infrastructure from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality to fund the rehabilitation of the Brown Street Pump Station located at 101 Brown Street, Fairmont, North Carolina. The project encompasses the comprehensive upgrade of critical infrastructure including the repair and rehabilitation of existing concrete structures and piping, replacement of all pumps, pump and electrical controls, and installation of new SCADA telemetry equipment. Additionally, the failed mechanical bar screen will be replaced with a new unit installed within the existing concrete structure. All work is confined to the pump station site and must comply with all federal and state CDBG-I program requirements. To ensure proper administration and compliance, the Town is soliciting proposals for professional grant administration services to be funded through the same CDBG-I award. The solicitation, numbered 366-RFP7272026, was posted on July 27, 2026, with responses due by August 20, 2026. Jenny Larson is the primary point of contact for the solicitation, and all proposals must be submitted in accordance with the guidelines established under the North Carolina CDBG-I Program. The selected administrator will be responsible for managing the grant’s reporting, financial oversight, procurement, and adherence to regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
