Faith Home Road and Garner Road Expressway Project

Stanislaus County is seeking approval for Minor Alteration No. WA2026106 under California Code of Regulations title 23 to conduct geotechnical work for the Faith Home Road and Garner Expressway Project. The scope of work involves performing 15 geotechnical borings, consisting of 11 auger borings with 8-inch diameters and 4 cone penetration test borings with diameters under 2 inches. These borings will reach depths between 100 and 175 feet and will be backfilled using a cement grout mixture. To minimize environmental impact, access to the sites will be managed through existing informal paths or farm roads, and no vegetation removal is anticipated. The project is coordinated through the California Department of Water Resources and Stanislaus County, with oversight provided by Senior Environmental Scientist Jennifer Calles and Deputy Director Chris Brady.
