The Government continues to gathering market research information from industry experts to either replace and/or modernize the elevators at the FBI CJIS Campus, Main Office Complex located in Clarksburg, WV. Questions/Clarification for Industry: 1. CLARIFICATION: As publicized in the Special Notice # 2021-CJISFMU-000 dated November 4, 2020, the following clarification is provided. - A registered professional engineer shall perform work utilizing the 100% Design of the technical and performance specifications prepared by HF Lenz and Elevator Management Concepts, the Architectural and Engineering Consultant. 2. QUESTION: Please provide your thoughts as to hydraulic versus traction elevators. 3. QUESTION: Recommendation for acting as a general contractor for a design/build project? 4. QUESTION: What is a conceptual idea for the solution? 5. QUESTION: What should this cost? Rough Order of Magnitude? Duration? 6. QUESTION: How best to schedule the work? One elevator at a time? Two at one time? 7. QUESTION: How might this effort affect other related efforts such as inspection requirements, preventative maintenance program, emergency services, etc.? 8.
