The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, intends to issue a solicitation for the supply and installation of:
A new 52-ton Air-Cooled Scroll Chiller or equal to replace the existing unit serving the Federal Prison Camp- Dorm 1 at Federal Correctional Complex, Pollock, LA. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, materials, and services necessary to remove the existing system and install, program, and commission the new system in accordance with the Statement of Work. As this is a supply-and-install action, the Service Contract Labor Standards apply, and Wage Determination No. 17-5175 is incorporated and governs all covered service employees performing work under the contract. The anticipated period of performance for completion of all work is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of award.
Place of performance is the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Pollock, LA, located at 1000 Airbase Road, Pollock, LA 71467.
The contract type will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). The Government reserves the right to award to the responsible vendor(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the Government. The evaluation criteria will follow the Lowest Price-Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method, where price and technical acceptability will be evaluated equally.
The solicitation will be made available on or about June 1, 2026, and will be posted to the GPE website at www.sam.gov.
