FDA OMHHE Convener for Racial & Ethnic minority Acceleration Consortium for Health Equity (REACH)

The Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Minority Health and Health Equity is seeking a convener to coordinate the Racial & Ethnic minority Acceleration Consortium for Health Equity, or REACH, a consortium of five to eight cooperative agreement awardees focused on advancing health equity for racial and ethnic minority populations. The convener’s primary role is to integrate data across REACH projects, facilitate analysis and visualization, and manage the infrastructure necessary to foster collaboration among investigators. This includes organizing and supporting subcommittees, coordinating workshops, and promoting joint research initiatives that address diseases and conditions disproportionately affecting minority communities as well as emerging public health threats that disproportionately impact underserved populations. The convener will serve as the central hub for communication and coordination among all REACH participants, ensuring alignment of research goals and efficient use of resources to meet regulatory and public health needs. The position requires strong logistical and organizational capabilities to manage inter-project collaboration, data sharing, and strategic convening activities.
