FDA OMHHE Convener for Racial & Ethnic minority Acceleration Consortium for Health Equity (REACH)

The Food and Drug Administration's Office of Minority Health and Health Equity is seeking a convener to support the Racial and Ethnic minority Acceleration Consortium for Health Equity. This role is designed to facilitate a network of five to eight multi-project cooperative agreement awardees focused on advancing minority health and health equity regulatory needs. The primary objective is to improve communications, research, and collaboration regarding diseases and conditions that disproportionately affect racial and ethnic minority populations, as well as underrepresented or underserved communities. The selected convener will be responsible for managing the infrastructure that supports collaborative studies and overseeing REACH subcommittees. Key duties include coordinating cross-consortium data integration, analysis, and visualization, as well as organizing workshops and convening investigators to foster strategic collaborations. This initiative aims to proactively respond to existing and emerging health threats impacting these specific populations.
