This Pre-Solicitation notice is amended to provide the Request for Quotation (RFQ), the complete RFQ is provided as an attachment to this notice. Please respond in accordance with the RFQ, via email to the contracting officer, Karen Marino at contact@example.gov. If there are any questions regarding this solicitation, please email them directly to my attention. Phone calls will not be accepted. ___________________________________________________________________________________ The U.S. Department of Transportation, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (DOT/Volpe Center) Cambridge, MA, intends to solicit and award a purchase order on a competitive basis. The Volpe Center is working with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to conduct testing on the beta version of Traffic Noise Model (TNM) 3.2 to identify bugs, issues, missing features, workflow needs, or documentation coverage in the TNM 3.2 software and documents prior to release to the public for wider use. The contractor shall demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the TNM Version 3.1 and the FHWA Consistency Test as well as conducting project level noise analyses for FHWA and State DOTs. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of the solicitation. The period of performance will be from date of award to May 31, 2023.
