Scope: CapMetro is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Firms (“Firm” or “Consultant”) to provide Federal Legislative Consulting Services. CapMetro seeks to work with a team of professionals with a demonstrated ability to advance federal legislative consulting services. The successful Firm shall demonstrate the ability to interpret federal statute and agency rulemaking. The successful Firm shall provide strategic advice to CapMetro on federal legislative matters and advise and assist CapMetro in developing and maintaining constructive relationships and in providing continuous communication with members of the US Congress and other relevant federal entities to promote and protect CapMetro's interests. Interested firms should demonstrate a record of success providing federal legislative consulting services to similar or larger public transit agencies and freight and commuter railroads.
