Fiber Optic Repair/Termination Sets

Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) to Kitco Fiber Optics Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA and Kitco Fiber Optics Inc's authorized distributors, on a sole source/brand name basis for a quantity of twenty four (24) Fiber Optic Repair / Termination Sets P/N 0741-8008 to support the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Fiber Channel Network Cabling. The Government intends to procure the above service under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
