Full Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded contract N0042121D0008 to Airborne Tactical Advantage Co. LLC. (ATAC), DUNS 029329294, CAGE Code 1UNN8 of Newport News, Virginia, 23602, for Fleet training and exercise support through Contractor Owned Contractor Operated (COCO) aircraft to the Department of the Navy (DON), other Department of Defense (DoD) Agencies, non-DoD Government agencies, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) in support of the Fighter Jet Services (FJS). This effort was competed as a full and open competition which resulted in the placement of a Single Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a four (4) year, 364 day ordering period. The contract will consist of firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract line item numbers (CLINs). This contract provides contractor-owned and operated Type III high subsonic and Type IV supersonic aircraft to Navy fleet customers for a wide variety of airborne threat simulation capabilities in support of the Specialized and Proven Aircraft program, Contracted Air Services. Work will be performed in Newport News, Virginia (44%), Point Mugu, California (37%), Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii (14%), and Atsugi, Japan (5%) The large business size standard was competed as $32.5M under NAICS 488190, PSC V121-Transportation/Travel/Relocation-Transportation: Air Charter. The Government has determined that the successful offeror, ATAC, will provide the best value to the Government all factors considered.
