AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is seeking four Filter Carts under NSN 4330-01-F21-6414 with part number PHX-C4-AC2H-USCGC-KIT through a special notice solicitation numbered 70Z08526N40116B00, which is a total small business set-aside under FAR 19.5, restricting eligibility exclusively to small businesses. Only the original equipment manufacturer, MSC Filtration Technologies (CAGE Code 4JSW2), or its officially authorized distributors are permitted to respond, and every quote must include a verifiable letter from MSC Filtration Technologies confirming the bidder’s authorized distributor status—failure to provide this letter will result in rejection. No substitutions, alterations, or alternative components are allowable without prior written approval from USCG SFLC technical experts, emphasizing strict adherence to OEM specifications. The technical and packing requirements are governed by Brady Myers, reachable at brady.a.myers@uscg.mil or 571-613-3388, while all quote submissions and contracting inquiries must be directed to Luke Maupin at luke.f.maupin@uscg.mil. The solicitation does not specify pricing, delivery timelines, FOB terms, or inspection protocols, and the place of performance is implied to be Alameda, CA, where the contracting office is located. The evaluation process appears to be based on lowest price technically acceptable criteria, with mandatory compliance regarding OEM authorization and technical accuracy serving as the primary determinants for award. The deadline for submission is May 10, 2026, and responses are expected through electronic means, likely via email or SAM.gov, with no formal page limits or proposal structure prescribed beyond the required OEM authorization letter.
