FY2025 AN/UPX-50(C) Digital Interrogators (DI), AN/UPX-50(C)

The Naval Air Systems Command, under the Department of Defense, is pursuing a sole-source procurement for AN/UPX-50(C) Digital Interrogators and associated retrofit kits for fiscal years 2025 through 2027. This acquisition is being conducted under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, as BAE Systems is identified as the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency requirements. The justification for this sole-source approach is based on BAE Systems' possession of the necessary Technical Data Package and the determination that competing the contract would result in unacceptable delays and a substantial duplication of costs. The procurement is managed by the office located in Patuxent River, Maryland, with the place of performance situated in Greenlawn, New York. This action is documented under solicitation number N00019-25-RFPREQ-TPM213-0018 and specifically excludes the use of FAR Part 12 provisions.
