Metra is seeking bids for a three-year contract to supply fixed passenger seats for its Push-Pull and EMU Gallery cars under Invitation for Bid No. 205670A, with a total contract value not to exceed $29,000,000. All seats must be shipped F.O.B. destination, with the contractor bearing all transportation costs and risk of loss until receipt by Metra. Packaging must adhere to strict guidelines: seat frames must be securely banded to new or excellent-condition pallets, cushions must be shrinkwrapped and banded to pallets, and all items must be uniquely identified by serial number, manufacturer name, and part number.
