Flat Panel Detector

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health is seeking a single large-area 2D X-ray flat panel detector to support laboratory cone-beam CT and fluoroscopy imaging for the development, testing, and validation of imaging evaluation methods using human-sized phantoms. The detector must meet strict technical specifications including a minimum active imaging area of 42.7 cm by 42.7 cm, a maximum pixel pitch of 170 micrometers, compatibility with energy ranges of 40 to 150 kVp or wider, radiation tolerance of at least 2000 Gy, and a weight of no more than 15 kg. The deliverable includes the detector unit with all required electronics, interface components, cables, adapters, and documentation in PDF format, along with a one-year manufacturer warranty and a mandatory one-year remote technical support service.
