The Emery Road decommissioning project includes determining stake locations that coincide with the road logs (approximatly 5.4 miles); road closure earth berms and waterbars; removal and disposal of culverts; and seeding of worksites including use of straw mulch at each site; importation and spreading of riprap is required at most of the culvert removal sites. All culvert removal and stream restoration sites require erosion control blankets and straw wattles. This project site is located on the Hungry Horse Ranger District of the Flathead National Forest. Pre-bid tour/Conference will be held on 7/23/2008; Work is estimated to start August 5th, 2008; Estimated contract time, 50 calendar days.
