Flow Management Data and Services (FMDS) Market Survey

The FAA is procuring Flow Management Data and Services (FMDS) as a replacement and modernization of the Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS). The FAA desires to obtain input on FMDS requirements, acquisition strategy, infrastructure, and implementation strategy, to identify existing capabilities that may satisfy the FAA's requirements, and to inform industry of the upcoming acquisition activities. The FAA is issuing this market survey for informational and planning purposes and this announcement does not constitute a solicitation. Vendors are hereby notified that the Acquisition Management System (AMS) applies to the FAA in place of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and various other provisions of Federal acquisition law. This announcement is being issued in accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1.
