THIS NOTICE WILL BE POSTED FOR A MINIMUM OF 15 DAYS PRIOR TO POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates issuance of solicitation 15B41219B00000001 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled 19 Replace Bldg. 4 West Freight Elevator at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) located in Rochester, Minnesota. FMC Rochester is a federal correctional facility located at 2110 East Center Street, Rochester, MN 55904. The work to be performed in association with this project includes the following scope: 19 Replace Bldg. 4 West Freight Elevator The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment to remove the existing West Freight Elevator in Building 4 and replace with a new electric traction freight elevator at FMC Rochester. The Statement of Work/Specifications attachment included with the solicitation will provide complete requirements for the project. The solicitation will be posted at a later date. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $500,000 and $1,000,000. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range).
