Window Mountain Lake is a popular hiking and camping area within Livingstone Public Land Use Zone (PLUZ). It is accessed from the Atlas Road, approximately 17 km north of Highway 3. Visitation at Window Mountain Lake has increased substantially resulting in site degradation, environmental impacts, parking congestion, ineffective visitor flow, and waste management challenges. In response to these pressures, Lands Division developed a project plan to refurbish facilities including one parking lot, the motorized trail used to access the parking lots, wayfinding and signage, waste facilities, and the Window Mountain Lake social and camping areas. The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proposals from suitably qualified Proponents who demonstrate sufficient experience and qualification to provide detailed design, secure approvals, prepare tender documents and perform project management and construction monitoring services for the redevelopment of sites as identified and supported by the Project Plan. Refer to the RFP document for additional information and complete scope of work.
