USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests has a requirement for Hazard Tree Removal in the Gabaldon and Diamond Rock Campgrounds. All of this work is covered under the Service Contract Act. Hazard Tree removal requires Level C Tree Fallers. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract under the Request For Quotation (RFQ) format. This solicitation is set-aside 100 percent for Small Businesses under the NAICS 115310. The Request For Quotations (RFQ) will be available (uploaded to www.fbo.gov) on or after March 10, 2016. Interested parties should submit an offer in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. Special attention should be paid to the submission requirements / instructions in Section L and Section M of the solicitation. Amended: An organized Site Visit has been scheduled for April 13, 2016, 1:30pm, Springerville Ranger District Office, 165 S. Mountain Ave., Springerville, AZ 85938. Both campgrounds will be toured on April 13, 2016, only, no other site visit will be provided due to the hazard presented by some of the dead trees. Electronic responses to this solicitation are acceptable and may be sent by email in PDF file format to the Contracting Officer (all submittal and deadline requirements shall be met) contact@example.gov on or before the closing date and time for the solicitation. Amended to extend the Closing Date and Time for responses to this RFQ shall be April 27, 2016, 4:00 p.m. MST (State of Arizona does not observe Daylight Savings Time).
