Fort Garry Fire Trucks — Custom and commercial firefighting apparatus

Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government service cooperative, has entered into a Master Agreement with Fort Garry Fire Trucks, Ltd. for the procurement of custom and commercial firefighting apparatus and fire service vehicles. This cooperative purchasing contract, identified as 082025-FTG, is designed to serve governmental, educational, nonprofit, tribal, and public agencies across the United States and Canada. The scope of work includes the delivery of turn-key solutions such as aerial ladder trucks, brush trucks, rescue vehicles, and wildland urban interface units, as well as associated components, refurbishment, maintenance, and operator training. The agreement is effective for an initial term of four years, with the possibility of three one-year extensions, potentially extending the performance period through September 30, 2029. Under the terms of the agreement, participating agencies receive a 15% discount off the manufacturer's suggested retail price, with additional case-by-case discounts ranging from 0.5% to 2%. Deliveries are provided FOB from the supplier's facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, with shipping and freight costs handled separately. The contract requires strict adherence to safety and performance standards, including NFPA 1900, NFPA 1002, and both US and Canadian motor vehicle safety standards (FMVSS and CMVSS). Award selection was based on a trade-off process evaluating pricing, solution depth, delivery capability, marketing plans, and financial viability.
