The proposed project will provide additional operational storage and emergency storage at the Freegard Lift Station site. The existing wet well structure will be replaced with a 12-inch diameter precast polymer concrete wet well and a 36-inch PVC sewer pipe will be constructed to connect the wet well to a new 12-inch diameter precast polymer concrete emergency storage wet well structure to the North. This project also includes the installation of an emergency backup Godwin 180M Diesel Pump with a suction line routed to the wet well expansion and the discharge piping connecting to an existing tee just south of the existing lift station building. A 12-inch sewer line will also be constructed from a new 48-inch polymer concrete manhole into the new emergency storage wet well structure so that the station can remain in operation while the existing wet well is being replaced.
