Freegard Lift Station Emergency Storage

Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District is soliciting bids for the Freegard Lift Station Emergency Storage project in Issaquah, Washington. The project focuses on increasing operational and emergency storage capacity through the replacement of the existing wet well with a 12-inch diameter precast polymer concrete structure and the installation of a new 12-inch diameter emergency storage wet well to the north. Key infrastructure work includes the construction of a 36-inch PVC sewer pipe connecting the two wells and a 12-inch sewer line from a new 48-inch polymer concrete manhole to ensure continuous station operation during construction. Additionally, the scope includes the installation of an emergency backup Godwin 180M Diesel Pump with associated suction and discharge piping, as well as the installation of Flygt Model ENM-10 float switches. The contract is estimated at approximately 1.5 million dollars and will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bids must be submitted via the MRSC Rosters Procurement Portal by October 15, 2026. The successful contractor will be responsible for the shipping, delivery, and acceptance of prepurchased composite concrete structures from Armorock Polymer Concrete, LLC. The project must be physically completed within 210 consecutive calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. Requirements for the award include the provision of performance and payment bonds, adherence to prevailing wage rates, and compliance with bidder responsibility criteria pursuant to RCW 39.04.350.
