In that spirit, FCAC uses plain language in its own communications with the public. The wider the audience likely to read an FCAC publication (or major segments of it), the greater the need to communicate in clear, simple, engaging terms. This does not mean ‘dumbing down’ documents. Rather, it means structuring and writing content so that it is appealing and easy for the wider target audience to grasp and appreciate.The contractor will provide French editing, revision and translation services for a wide variety of communication products, such as but not limited to brochures, fact sheets, backgrounders, news releases, speeches, pamphlets, material for Web sites, communication plans, reports, publications, guides, promotional materials and newsletters on an “as required” basis.
