The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) requires the services of one (1) Editor and Translator who is qualified to provide interpretive texts for museums and cultural institutions. The objective of work is to provide translation and editorial expertise for cultural interpretive texts and material from English to French. Translated and revised texts should accurately reflect the language of origin and nuances in meaning or understanding of the subject matter as well as being consistent in style across the diverse outreach outlet for the Visual Art Collection Program. Translation and editing services will support the development and production of interpretive content for fine art brochures, interpretative label texts and social media content. The translator will work closely with the Visual Art Collection Program curatorial team and the English Editor. There is no security requirement associated with this bid solicitation.
