This is a Sources Sought notice, not a request for quote, proposal, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of small business concerns for potential set-aside. No award will be made from this Sources Sought. No solicitation is available at this time. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a future acquisition. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought notice, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on Federal Business Opportunities. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for a future synopsis/solicitation, as they will not be notified. The 5th Contracting Squadron is seeking sources interested in a possible contract to provide Sixteen (16) Arctic Wheeled Front End Loaders for snow removal Minot AFB, ND, all Sixteen (16) will have 3 to 4 cu. Yd. buckets with a footprint wider than the loader and a cutting front edge added for dealing with compacted ice and snow and Five (5) will have snow blower attachments which must cut a path wider than the loader and able to cut though high compacted drifts, possible a dual auger setup. The NAICS code is 532412. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to deliver the Front End Loaders within a 75 mile radius of Minot, ND operators for the Front End Loaders are not needed. Front End Loaders shall be delivered to pre-determined sites on 01 September 2017 and picked up on 30 April 2018. The Government reserves the right to reduce said numbers of Loaders per lease agreement when said original numbers are no longer needed during the performance period.
