The purpose of this RFQ is to invite interested parties to indicate their interest in, and their qualifications for, one component of the Fraser River Tunnel Project referred to as GC-1 – Immersed Tube Tunnel, South Cut & Cover, South Ramp. Through the process described in this RFQ, the Province anticipates identifying up to three Respondents to be invited to participate in the next phase of this Competitive Selection Process, the Request for Proposals phase.The purpose of the Competitive Selection Process is to identify a qualified entity with whom the Province may enter into a target price construction contract to construct the Project, in accordance with the Province’s design.This RFQ is not a tender or an offer or a Request for Proposals, and there is no intention by the Province to make an offer by issuing this RFQ.
