The County of Hawaii is seeking to procure Fuji Ambient Police E-Bikes through a formal RFQ process, with the solicitation number RFQ #pd.04971 (zm). The contract involves furnishing and delivering these e-bikes as requested by the Hawaii Police Department, with an estimated contract value ranging from $50,000 to $150,000. Vendors are required to complete all fields on the designated RFQ form, including fax number and exceptions, before submitting their quotes, and failure to do so may result in disqualification. All communications and questions regarding the RFQ must be directed in writing to the designated Bid Contact via Public Purchase; oral explanations are not binding, and unauthorized communication may lead to disqualification. The award will be made as a single lot, meaning all line items must be quoted to be considered. If awarded, a purchase order will be issued electronically to the successful vendor. Vendors interested in participating are advised to register with Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) prior to submitting a bid, as compliance is mandatory for awards exceeding $2,500 under Hawaii Revised Statutes 103D-310(C). The registration process may take several weeks, so early registration is recommended. Bidders can also submit proposals based on active State of Hawaii price and vendor list contracts, with the applicable contract terms replacing those in the RFQ if an award is made. The response deadline for submissions is September 5, 2024, and additional details are available through the provided Public Purchase link.
