DLA Troop Support is seeking input from suppliers regarding food support services for military and federally funded customers located in the Boise, Idaho, and Portland, Oregon areas. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to gather comments on the capability to provide full-line food services under the CONUS Subsistence Prime Vendor Program, including the ability to deliver orders typically within 48 hours. Suppliers are asked to consider their capacity to serve a diverse range of customers, including several military facilities, coast guard cutters, and NOAA ships, some of which are in remote locations requiring smaller pack sizes and specialized delivery arrangements. The solicitation's issue date is yet to be determined. Respondents are also asked about delivery logistics, preferred routing and grouping strategies, shipping methods, and their ability to handle emergency orders requiring same-day or next-day delivery. Additionally, suppliers must confirm their compatibility with the STORES system to support electronic data interchange transactions, including electronic invoicing, catalog transmission, purchase orders, and acknowledgments. Interested suppliers are invited to provide confidential feedback by February 18, 2013, to the designated contracting officer at DLA Troop Support in Philadelphia. The communication encourages open dialogue to ensure comprehensive food support across the stated regions.
