Sealed Bids for the construction of the FY 2026 LRA Resurfacing & Patching Project will be received, by Grady County Board of Commissioners, at 33 17th Ave NW, Cairo, GA 39827, until 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 18, 2026, local time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed FY 2026 LRA Resurfacing & Patching Project as shown on the construction drawings. In general, the project consists of widening and resurfacing Wilcox Road, Meridian Road, and Lewis Road; resurfacing Leonard Drive; and all associated measures for the complete project. Time allotted for completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Work shall be complete and ready for contract close-out with 194 consecutive calendar days. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work will be awarded in one (1) Contract. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from Watkins & Associates, LLC, 1606 Whiddon Mill Road, Tifton, Georgia 31793, (229) 388-8823 (Office of the Engineer), upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $300.00 (cash or check) or $309.00 (credit/debit card) for each set. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Grady County Board of Commissioners, 33 17th Ave NW, Cairo, GA 39827, or at the Office of the Engineer at Watkins & Associates, LLC, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Upon receipt of the required payment, Watkins & Associates, LLC will transmit the digital Bidding Documents by electronic download link.
