FY 26-27 New Haven Public Schools Snow Removal/Control and Ice Treatment/Control - Zone 4

New Haven Public Schools (NHPS) is seeking on-call vendors for snow plowing and ice treatment services for the 2026-2027 season, specifically for Zone 4. The contract period runs from October 15, 2026, to April 30, 2027, and covers various schools, offices, and storage facilities, including Wilbur Cross High School, Central Kitchen, and Fair Haven School. Vendors must ensure all paved areas, fire lanes, and building entrances are clear by 6:00 a.m. and must remove snow piles from sidewalks and driveways within eight hours of snowfall. Only calcium chloride or rock salt blends are permitted for ice treatment, as sand is strictly prohibited. To be eligible, contractors must provide a minimum of eight staff members per zone and a detailed equipment list via Appendix A.
