Full Description
his requirement is a continuation contract to provide Exhaust Hoods cleaning and certification services at Sheppard AFB and Sheppard Annex at Lake Texoma (approximately 2 hour drive/120 miles from Sheppard AFB). The service provider shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, expertise, materials and other items necessary to perform cleaning kitchen exhaust hoods and ducts.
It is critical that service providers are certified, qualified, trained, and efficient in the trade and must perform in the best and most workmanlike manner and in compliance with the contract and industry standards. Certification must come from an industry standardized organization such as International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Association (IKECA) or comparable. Contractor will be responsible for providing proof of certification for Certified Exhaust Cleaning Specialists on an annual basis or as directed by their certifying industry standardized organization. Contractor must provide a photocopy of certification to the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) within 10 days of certification renewal. During performance of work, at least one certified technician must remain on-site at all times. During the span of this contract, modifications may be required. Modifications are based on a per exhaust hood and duct system by building. Modifications may be generated due to facility utilization, additions and deletions, renovations, demolition, and new construction.
