NASA has tasked the US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering andSupport Center, Huntsville, to initiate a Facility Reduction requirement at the AMES research center inSan Francisco, CA. Buildings are considered excess and will be demolished. The purpose of thiscontract is to procure Pre-demolition surveys according to the requirements set forth in thisPerformance Work Statement (PWS).The objective is to plan and complete the environmental sampling facilities as identified in the PWS.The objective of the Performance Work Statement is to plan and complete the environmentalsampling of facilities at the installation. The structures of concern are listed in Table I of the PWS. Thesampling will determine ACM and ORM materials and complete a Waste Stream Analysis for RCRA 8metals, lead-based paint (LBP) and PCB?s-in-paint for those parts of the structure currently identifiedas potentially having any painted components. Following sampling, the Contractor shall be able tocompletely quantify the environmental contamination present and the methods required to removeand dispose of contamination in a safe manner. All sampling shall be planned and performed inaccordance with Federal, State, and local regulations for the installation. All recommendations forfollow-on actions shall also be in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations. Laboratorytesting and analysis shall be completed within the workdays identified in table two following therespective site sampling field activity completion. The results of the site investigation and samplingeffort will be provided in an individual Pre-Demolition Assessment Report for the installationRefer to the PWS and attached documents for requirement specifics.*Projnet Questions due by 25 May 2026.**Note the solcitation is in CST - Central Standard Time*
