Full Description
This is a Sources Sought Synopsis issued for conducting market research. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No solicitation is being issued at this time, and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
The purpose of this notice is to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing and installing wash rack bays in two buildings on base, to include vacuum systems.
1. Description of Requirement: Purchase and installation of wash rack equipment. This equipment will be utilized to maintain the base vehicle fleet. The Contractor shall furnish all design, labor, equipment, material, transportation, administration, supervision, and all else necessary to remove all existing automatic and manual bay car wash systems, as well as replace and install three new commercial industrial vehicle manual automotive cleaning systems in existing bays of Buildings 570 & 548 (2-systems) on Scott Air Force Base. The services rendered will include the removal of any damaged lines, rubber, and metal associated with previously installed wash rack, installation of new equipment, basic operation/maintenance training to Ground Transportation personnel, and a 1-year maintenance and hardware warranty. The Contractor is responsible for verifying all technical aspects of the needed equipment.
