FY26 SEWIP Block 3 Hemisphere and Quadrant EA Subsystem Production & Ancillary Equipment

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Mission Systems Sector, located in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, has been awarded a $312,338,052 firm-fixed price modification to contract N00024-20-C-5519 to produce additional Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) Block 3 Hemisphere and Quadrant subsystems. This modification supports the continued modernization of the AN/SLQ-32(V) Electronic Warfare system deployed on U.S. Navy surface ships, enhancing their ability to detect, identify, and counter emerging threats through iterative technological upgrades. The SEWIP Block 3 program is critical to maintaining naval superiority in contested electromagnetic environments, and this contract specifically scales up production of the advanced Hemisphere and Quadrant configurations, which provide expanded electronic attack capabilities. The acquisition was conducted as a sole source procurement under 10 USC 3204(a)(1), with documentation justifying the sole-source decision previously published upon execution of prior contract modifications. The work will be performed in Maryland, with the Naval Sea Systems Command based in Washington Navy Yard, DC, overseeing delivery of the systems and ancillary equipment under the solicitation N00024-20-C-5519-P00040, with primary point of contact Ryan Brophy and secondary contact Matthew Brimmer.
