FY27 H Street Northeast Corridor Events Activation Grant

The FY27 H Street Northeast Corridor Events Activation Grant is a solicitation by the District of Columbia Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) designed to increase pedestrian foot traffic along the H Street NE corridor. The program will award a single grant of 175,000 dollars to a District-based for-profit or non-profit entity, provided the entity is not currently funded through the DSLBD Main Streets Program. The selected awardee must create and market a minimum of three events focused on art, live music, and local business collaboration between 3rd Street NE and 15th Street NE, including a one-block radius. All activities and expenses must be completed by September 30, 2027, and funding cannot be used for the existing H Street Festival. The competitive application process opens on October 28, 2026, and closes on November 25, 2026, at 5:00 pm ET, with submissions required via the specified online application system. Eligible applicants must provide a current Certificate of Clean Hands from the Office of Tax and Revenue, an active business license from the Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection, and a signed compliance affidavit. Awards are determined by a panel based on RFA scoring criteria, past performance, program plans, and personnel qualifications, with final approval granted by the Director of DSLBD.
