1. The City of Waco is requesting bids for Landfill Yard Waste Grinding Services. Under the resulting agreement, the successful bidder (“Contractor”) shall: a. Accept brush and yard waste materials delivered to a grinding facility located within McLennan County; b. Grind the material into mulch and stage the ground mulch at that facility; and c. Either (i) transport the staged mulch to the City of Waco Landfill (4730 TK Parkway, Axtell, TX 76624), or (ii) provide access for City of Waco vehicles and personnel to pick up and transport the staged mulch to the Landfill. 2. Bidders shall identify the location of the proposed grinding facility and, if different, the staging location, for each option bid. Proposed locations will be evaluated to determine which option provides the best value to the City of Waco Solid Waste Division. 3. Bids must be submitted on the attached bid sheets, together with all attachments required by the specifications in Appendix D.
