FY27 Landfill Yard Waste Grinding Service

The City of Waco is seeking qualified bidders to provide yard waste grinding services under solicitation RFB 2026-034 for fiscal year 2027. The selected contractor must accept brush and yard waste delivered to a grinding facility within McLennan County, process the material into mulch, and stage the ground mulch at a designated location. The contractor must either transport the mulch to the City’s landfill at 4730 TK Parkway in Axtell, Texas, or grant the City access to its own vehicles and personnel to collect the staged mulch for transport. Bidders are required to specify the exact locations of both the grinding and staging facilities for each proposal, with evaluations based on overall value to the City’s Solid Waste Division. All bids must be submitted using the official bid sheets and include all required documentation outlined in Appendix D, with responses due by August 17, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
