FY27 Sludge Hauling

The City of Waco is soliciting bids under RFB2026-047 for the on-demand removal and transportation of sewage sludge from the Bull Hide Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant to the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, equipment, and vacuum trucks with capacities between 2,000 and 5,000 gallons. Services are provided on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed minimum quantity, although the estimated annual volume is 1,248,000 gallons. The initial contract term runs from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with the City holding an option to renew for up to four additional one-year terms based on performance and funding availability. Required insurance includes Workers Compensation and General Liability with a minimum of 1,000,000 dollars per occurrence.
