The Department of Veterans Affairs Bay Pines Healthcare system hereafter referred to as BPVAHCS, 10,000 Bay Pines Blvd. St. Petersburg, FL has a need for two (2) reserved beds located within a homeless shelter in Pinellas County Florida. SCOPE OF WORK: This service shall include 24-hour shelter with sleeping and shower facilities, three daily meals, and case management services and will be able to accept a veteran into shelter 24/7. The care is designed for temporary shelter for homeless Veterans being discharged from acute hospital setting, or in prevention of hospitalization and is in need of minor post-hospitalization care, i.e home health care. A Veteran using this benefit will be medically independent and will be able to perform all Activities of daily living (ADL) and will not need personal assistance from homeless shelter staff.
