Full Description

U.S. Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) intends to negotiate and award a commercial, sole source, firm fixed-price/time and materials hybrid contract to ValueOptions, Inc., 240 Corporate Boulevard, Norfolk, VA, 23502 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This contract will ensure there is continued Military OneSource (MOS) program support while AQD re-competes this requirement. The full and open competition, via Solicitation No. D12PS50899, is currently in the proposal evaluation stage. The MOS program is a commercial Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that originates from the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Military Community and Family Policy Office and provides a wide variety of non-medical counseling support to military personnel and their families. This sole source bridge contract must be awarded no later than February 10, 2013 and contains a 5-month base period with two 3-month option periods. This notice of intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. Any questions regarding the requirement must be submitted in writing via email to contact@example.gov.
