The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), through its Network Contracting Office 16, plans to award a sole source, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to Sober Living, located in Little Rock, Arkansas, for Emergency Residential Treatment and Transitional Housing Services under the Health Care for Homeless Veterans program. The contract will have a two-year performance and ordering period. A sole source award is justified due to Sober Living’s existing facility and the significant medical and patient safety concerns that would arise if services were not provided promptly within the specified geographical area, as outlined by federal acquisition regulations. Maintaining continuity and quality of care for veterans at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System is a primary factor motivating this choice. This notice is informational and does not represent a solicitation for competitive quotes or proposals; telephone inquiries will not be accepted, and no awards will be made based on responses to this notice. However, interested parties may express their interest to the designated Contracting Officer, Corey Labbe, by a specified deadline, but must provide compelling evidence that competition would benefit the government. The contract’s NAICS code is 624229, reflecting social assistance services, and the official correspondence should be directed to the Contracting Officer at the provided contact details. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16), intends to issue and award a sole source single award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a performance period/ordering period of two (2) years to Sober Living, 4201 Barrow Road, Little Rock, AR 72204, for Emergency Residential Treatment and Transitional Housing Services (Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV)). Soliciting from a single source would continue the level of quality of VA s critical mission in providing support to Veteran patients at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System located in Little Rock/North Little Rock, AR.
