Gardening Maintenance Services are being solicited by the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE, under solicitation number 19TC1026R0002 for the upkeep of the U.S. Embassy compound and the official residences of the Chief of Mission and Deputy Chief of Mission. The contractor must provide comprehensive landscape and gardening services directly through trained employees, with no subcontracting permitted. The work includes maintenance of grass, shrubbery, garden areas, trees, and related vegetation on the Embassy compound (10,032 square meters) and optional services for the Chief of Mission residence (1,450 square meters) and Deputy Chief of Mission residence (165 square meters). The base performance period is 12 months with four one-year renewal options, capping the total contract duration at five years. Performance is measured against monthly quality scorecards using a 1-5 scale, with a minimum average score of 3.0 required for contract compliance; failure to meet this standard constitutes non-performance. The contractor must submit a Quality Control Management Plan and a service schedule to the Contracting Officer’s Representative before the 20th of each month for the following month, and a Monthly Score Card by the 10th of each month for the prior month. All services must adhere to specified standards, including weekly inspections of plant health and equipment, and compliance with Handling and Safety requirements such as wearing long-sleeved shirts and safety shoes.
